The mission of RLT is to present amateur theatrical productions, encourage interest in drama, and contribute to the cultural and educational life of the community.

Organizational Culture and Vision

Rome Little Theatre presents exceptional quality programming to the Rome Community through multiple shows each year. Located for thirty years at the Historic DeSoto Theatre in downtown Rome, RLT is a non-profit organization that relies on local membership and volunteer efforts for its support.

RLT is an active supporter of the Arts in Rome and Floyd County and lives out its mission every day through theirr full scale productions, low cost school shows, and continual classes for children, youth, adults, and now senior adults.

 

Programs

Shows: Two weeks long in duration, these shows bring to Broad street everything there is to love about theatre. Shows can include  topics like Scrooge the Musical, The Diary of Anne Frank, Alice in Wonderland and more. 

Camps and Classes: RLT has summer camps that are learning experiences for children in the world of theatre. There are youth classes as well that feature instruction on musical theatre to acting in a movie. Senior classes are offered as well, so no matter how old, you can learn about theatre.
