​The Floyd County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Program operates under the umbrella organization of Harbor House-The Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center. Floyd County CASA is an organization of professional staff and trained volunteers who advocate for the welfare of abused and neglected children in foster care.​

Organizational Culture and Vision

Floyd County CASA’s mission is to provide training and supervision to volunteers who advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children who are under the jurisdiction of the Floyd County Juvenile Court.

Organization’s goals over the next year is to increase volunteers by 50%.

There are over 250+ children in need of care and Floyd County CASA believes every child needs a Court Appointed Special Advocate.

CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court and other settings.
