Organizational Culture and Vision

Elevation House’s vision for long term success is to make a positive impact on Rome and Floyd County by providing meaningful support and relationship-building opportunities for adults with mental illness in the Rome area.

Their most pressing needs are financial resources to launch and purchase their own building.

Elevation House works in close collaboration with NAMI Rome, and are looking close at the issue of how over 4,000 people in Floyd County have reported a mental illness.

Programs

The Clubhouse: Following the national Clubhouse model developed by Clubhouse International, the site will provide a sense of community to those who feel disenfranchised because of their mental illness. The daily activity of a Clubhouse is organized through a system known as the work-ordered day. It is an eight-hour period, typically Monday-Friday, where members and staff work side-by-side as colleagues to perform work needed within the Clubhouse.

Job Skill Development and Employment: Elevation House also will help members with opportunities to return to paid employment through both transitional employment and independent employment programs.
