Blooms on Broad
Blooms on Broad is an initiative of the Community Foundation to build a better downtown with natural beauty. The Community Foundation has partnered with the City of Rome, the Downtown Development Authority, and the Rome-Floyd Chamber of Commerce to install and maintain planters of seasonal flowers and other ornamental plants along Broad Street to add color and natural beauty to downtown Rome. The first 12 planters were installed at the corner of Broad Street and Second Avenue in May 2019. Now, we need your help to expand Blooms on Broad to every intersection of Broad Street.
These planters will be a community asset and will add value to downtown Rome for years to come.
You could be a part of transforming the look of downtown Rome by sponsoring a planter. Your contribution will help install a planter and provide plants, watering, and weekly maintenance for years to come.
