Free Clinic of Rome

In order for the Free Clinic of Rome Dental Clinic to provide free dental care to the low income uninsured in the greater Rome area, there is a need for quality, durable, dental instruments. The grant will provide anesthetics necessary, PPE (personal protective equipment) for volunteers, x-rays, printed discharge instructions and over-the-counter medications (such as Ibuprofen) for patients.

The first order of instruments, anesthetics and supplies that this grant provides have arrived and they will be prepped and available for the volunteer dentists to utilize the first Dental Clinic of the Year taking place on January 31st, 2019.

"Tooth pain can greatly affect a person’s work habits, attendance, and the ability to live a good quality life. It exacerbates diabetic risks and encourages use of narcotics, yet it is easily alleviated with the right efforts and tools.  We had assembled the right people to help. And now we have the ability to provide them with the right tools."
