Programs

Child Abuse Victim Forensic Interview: At Harbor House, interviewers specially trained in talking with children and adolescents will speak to children about the situation. The process is designed to help children feel at-ease.  The goal is to have the child leave with a feeling that he/she would come back without hesitation if they ever needed.

Child Abuse Prevention and Advocacy/Therapy: A member of Harbor House Staff will contact the caregiver a few weeks after the interview to follow-up and answer any questions, while providing any additional resources needed. They also offer on-site therapy to children/families that have come to our center for a forensic interview as part of the investigation.
